Will linking to discover.hubpages harm my YouTube channel's SEO?

    I have several medium-sized YouTube channels. Their traffic comes from search results.

    Since my channels are how-to channels, they pair really well with written guides, so I've written a small handful of them.

    In the past, my guides have ended up on niche sites, but in the past few months it's been taking longer for things to be moved to niche sites or I've had to manually submit them and that process has taken a while as well.

    I've been wanting to write guides for some of my videos that are performing really well. One of the guides I wrote is still on Discover.Hubpages and I initially linked to it but decided to take the link down because if HubPages doesn't want us linking to Discover.Hubpages from the niche sites, then they must believe it would negatively impact the niche site's SEO.

    Should I, in turn, avoid linking to discover.hubpages.com in my videos?
