What does this disclaimer appearing at the end of most of the articles at Hubpages and/or the Network sites seems to imply?
"This content is accurate and true to the best of the author’s knowledge and is not meant to substitute for formal and individualized advice from a qualified professional."
Isn't it silly and awkward while appearing on Poems or Stories, etc.? There is no such need for this disclaimer to be added on such works. The authors do not provide any advice there!
I never include a disclaimer on poems and fiction stories. It is really only for medical articles or those giving some form of advice.
Yes, John. I know that. They don't appear on your posts.
Ven, you can remove the disclaimer yourself in the Hubtool. Scroll down to the bottom and disable it. Since it's a poem, I'm sure it's acceptable not having one.
Thanks for replying, Glenn. But I am not talking about my articles so that I can remove them. While reading others' works, I see them appearing at the bottom.

I was thinking about offering one for my pet health hubs, as with the few medical ones that...

Is there a reason for this rather than having it at the beginning where it will be seen before anyone acts on the information in an article? Is there something special about the disclaimer capsule or text? Has anyone used their own disclaimer to replace the preset ones? I'm thinking of adding on...
