Hello, fellow hubbers!
Since English is not my first language, there times that rules for English grammar are never made clear to me.
I would like to ask about the technicality of the use of "about" in time (e.g. About six months, about three hours).
For me, the "about" means less than or an approximation or the time mentioned. For example, about 6 months, technically is 5 months and 3 weeks. Is this right, or not?
Hi Justine
'About' is the same as 'approximately'. It's fluid so might be anything from five to seven months.
Oh, so it might go beyond the time mentioned and not just less. Thank you for clarification, Bev!
I want to add: it basically indicates an approximate or estimated period without being specific or exact. It suggests a general timeframe or an imprecise duration.

Yesterday, I've added personal experience to add more weight to my computer hub, mentioned about comparison shopping, two links and a new poll. It came back to NFQ again. Why? I did what HP wanted me to do to pass QP. I also fixed and edited my writing and nothing there's spammy. I've removed...
