Line spacing and adverts

    Can someone remind me how to prevent ads from appearing in the middle of text capsules? It's something to do with soft and hard linebreaks, isn't it? What's the difference?

        Shift-enter works usually, but only within a block of text. So instead of using enter to create a new paragraph, use shift-enter. Unfortunately it doesn't work if you have to use a H3 subtitle or a line of bolded paragraph text as a subtitle, because you have to use an enter for the formatting to work (Formatting only works on individual paragraphs. When you use shift-enter, you're not creating a new paragraph, just a new line). Glenn said however said that there could be issues with just creating new lines rather than new paragraphs in blocks of text because Google might have difficulty understanding the flow.

    Why won't Hubpages talk to us about this? Are they ignorant of the technicalities or is it a taboo subject for some reason? We know ads are just stuck in everywhere they can find a new paragraph and they get spaced every so many lines. Please tell us whether you can control this. Does Tag make you fit as many in as possible?

    Interestingly, I see people in the related discussions below complaining 8 years ago about the number of ads.
