I recently submitted a new article. It passed QA and is tagged as "featured". But it isn't available on discovery pages. I can't find it published anywhere. Has anyone experienced the same thing or could it be related to the delayed view stats issue?

The one about home furniture is showing as being on Hubpages and not discovery Maggie.

Oh yeah. I did see it on hubpages. I was just kinda confused why it isn't showing on discovery... I'm not really sure what I did wrong...

You need to credit those images and make sure they have an appropriate commercial-use license.

When an article is featured it always starts on hubpages.com. If the article receives enough traffic, it is automatically moved to discover.hubpages.com.

Oh I see. So it could actually be related to the page view stats not updating. I remember the issue started right after my article got approved. It's stuck at 0 views right now, so maybe that's why it's not moving to discovery. Thanks so much for the insight!

I have the same issue with the latest poem I wrote. It's featured but ain't showing on Discover. But I suppose it will soon be moved to LetterPile anyway, given that all of my previous poems did.

Oh! So some articles are automatically moved to niche sites? By automatic, I mean the staff/admins do it for us. Lol. I thought I have to manually submit my article everytime.

Nope, not the recently published ones. Admins usually pick them up, go through them, and move them to niche sites. However, sometimes they don't – even when the articles are valuable for the niche site... If that happens, you need to submit it manually.

Yes, ideally, after the publish button is pressed, an article is accepted to hp.com then goes to Discover, and then onto a niche without any action by the writer.

In reality, it can be stopped at any stage for a variety of reasons.

If an article isn't accepted onto a niche within a couple of weeks after publication, you can manually submit it but there's a good chance that it won't make it without some changes being made.
