Is it okay to interlink my hubs or is that considered as self promotion? Would the articles get rejected if submitted to a niche site because of this?
I would hold back from linking at the moment Maggie. My understanding is that you shouldn’t link back to Hubpages, only between the niche sites.
Also, the link should be relevant and something that you could insert as anchor text. Don’t overdo the number of links either.
Thanks so much. That makes a lot of sense.
I agree with the response above from Marketing Merit.
If you have lots of articles that were published on a certain niche, there could be scope for interlinking.
However, linking to hubpages.com articles and material that concerns an unrelated topic will only get your links snipped. They don't allow that in the niches.
Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge. I really appreciate it.
Not meaning to hijack the thread, but this question seems to fit in here. Can I link from an Exemplore article of mine to subheader within the same article? It is relevant to do so. Sorry to revive an old thread I didn't tune into the date right away.
I wait until after a hub is moved to the niche site to interlink them with like articles. There is a capsule for links, so it is an approved practice.
I title my capsule "You May Also Like" and link to new articles from popular ones. It can give the new article an instant viewership, if the title is enticing.
This way I can create interesting article titles, that perhaps no one is searching for, but they are intrigued, if they can slog though all 30 ads for PayPal Business Credit, and get to the end of the article.
Thanks! I'll just wait for the articles to be moved to niche sites. The "you may also like" capsule also sounds interesting. I'll check how I can do that.

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...

I noticed that hubs in niche sites no longer include the "More by this author" section below the hub. Is this just an oversight or was it a decision to drop it on niche sites?

Hi,Do more experienced Hubbers have any useful tips for getting your article moved to a niche site? I kept seeing advice that goes something like "make sure you write a high-quality article" but it just seems so vague to me. I have 9 articles now and the only one that was moved to a niche...

I already have a number of hubs moved to the Hubpages network sites, but haven't really seen a drastic traffic change in said hubs. So, is it worth the risk to submit one of my hubs that already receives a decent amount of daily views to a vertical site?I'd hate to see aforementioned hub drop in...

I was under the impression that we could only submit one hub every two weeks for niche sites. I submitted a hub and an editor replied with changes that I needed to make before it could be moved. As I'm making those changes, I have received two emails that another two of my hubs are...

I'm pulling 2013 kind of randomly, but I really miss how HubPages used to be. It used to be a really friendly place. We used to have kind of an "in" with the administration in that Maddie and Simone would give us advice. There used to be contests to motivate us to write.I understand that...
