Newbie here.
I've looked for a while trying to find this subject, but it seems I'm th only one who hasn't figured it out.
I just wrote my first article, got the phone call, and hopefully it will be published.
My question is:
The font I have in my article is helvetica and the other articles I saw have a different one.:
In the text edit box, I couldn't find any option to change either the font or the color.
Will those options be available later on if I keep publishing?
Are they somewhere else?
Is there anyone available to give this simple tip? pretty please
Are you writing your articles in Word, then copy/pasting into the HP text capsules?
I think most of us write in Word rather than directly in the text capsules. That said, I'm not sure if colors translate when copy/pasting from Word to the HP format. (I say that because it's been a few years since I've posted something new on HP.
You can't change fonts and colours. They are standardised across the sites. It makes no difference what program you use offline to write your articles. Once you upload the text, HubPages' style prevails.
You can use bullets, numbering, bold, italics, anchor links, and headings to add interest to the formatting.
Also, you need to know that you cannot use AI-generated text. Your account will be deleted if you do. Images, I think, are fine but the writing must be your own original work.
Thank you. Did not know that. I used AI images but identified them as AI.
Well, the article got rejected. I just wonder why that might be. I've read the instructions, but it's all a bit generic.
If anyone could take a look and give me some pointers,. I'm just not sure how I can share the article?
Thank you
Did you use Chat GPT to generate the text?
Your article style was not the same as you use in the forum.
I use it to proofread because English is not my native language. and made some changes accordingly. But yeah in the forum it's much less formal. Did you get a chance to read it? and if so how?
Saw it in your Activity tab before it was unpublished. I liked the AI images.
You have to be careful about using AI to proofread. Try something more acceptable like Grammarly, which will just fix the obvious spelling and grammatical issues. If you add too many ChatGPT phrases it will get picked up.
I will... Thank you... And also remove the images, even though AI images or free images from image banks is pretty much the same... At least with AI we put some effort on it...

Evening. I'm new; so, I'm not aware if I made any overlook the rules on forum posting. With the article approval, is there a way to find what mistakes and rules that relate to unpublished articles so I know in what area I can improve and edit? The links are very helpful; but, they have too much...

Aside from sharing my article links on Facebook, what are some tried and true ways of increasing traffic/reads to our articles? I'm new; 3 weeks in, have 10 published and featured articles so far. I'm trying to figure out what the number on my profile photo means exactly. I know...

I truly don't get it. It's a whole lot of pretty pictures. How does posting our articles to pinterest get them read?

Not sure whether I already posted about this a few weeks ago, but I notice that unlike other websites and HubPages network sites, saving Medium articles from a browser doesn't create a readable HTML file. I tested this by saving, then going offline and trying to open an article. The browser gave a...

I am still unsure of the etiquette/protocol regarding whether or not to respond to comments made on articles that I have written. On the one hand it seems rude not to acknowledge comments but, on the other hand, if there is nothing to write other than a thank you note it seems pointless. I think it...
