How to find and follow new writers?

   Hello all, I would like to expand the writers that I follow in here but am having a little difficulty in adding them. This was easy when this was just HubPages and we didn't have all the additional sites for niche articles.
   
   However, now when I hop over to for example, Owlcation to see what's new - if there's a writer I want to follow, I can't see how to do that?
   
   Is there a way to search for HupPages writers (as we all start out on here I assume?) and then find the writer you like and add them so they come up in your feed?
   
   I have tried writing the writers name in the search on HubPages, but it won't bring it up.
   
   Scratching my head a bit here, can anyone offer any advice please?

   On any network site, just click on the author's name and scroll down. There's a big link that says, "Follow this author".

   Thanks for the reply! That's what I would have expected to work too
   
   Here's one example, on my screen I am at that page, but "Follow this author" is not hooked to any links. I can only see where to follow them on external social media platforms and their own website.
   
   Am I just unlucky and have found an anomaly here?

   Oh yes, that's not right. It must refer to the buttons underneath to social media. There should be a way to get to their profile.
   
   Hope Matt steps in to suggest a solution.
   
   Edit: It's obvious that HubPages isn't bothered about fostering a sense of community anymore. I know a lot of people have complained about it recently.

      We have more hoops to jump. I suspect it is because HP has less staff.
