Hi Paul and Jason
I published one hub around 16 hours ago and it still has no traffic from google(despite selecting the topic from the idea bank - in fact there is no search engine traffic at all!). I would like to know why is this so, and has anyone else experiencing the same thing? Here's the link to the Hub. http://hubpages.com/hub/Megyn_Price_bio_and_pictures
I also feel that this Hub is not showing relevant ads. Can somebody please have a look and tell me what is wrong?
Thanks and Regards
It looks like a good hub. It can take Google a few days to index the Hub and then to find other links to it before it starts sending traffic. The best thing to do is to get a few high quality backlinks and it should do fine.
Thanks Paul. I can see traffic from Google trickling in now. But I still feel that adsense ads are not related to the content.
You can't help those things with AdSense, it just displays the ads it thinks it should and that's it. Sometimes it works in strange ways

Some of my hubs are getting a fair bit of traffic from Google. (And some are not). Is there any way to see what search terms brought my Google traffic? Thanks.

I have almost 100 percent traffic from Google and no reasonable traffic from HubPages! Which one is better? What about your traffic?

I have three Hubs about the 2015 Sydney Siege. They were all featured. They do not attract a great deal of views as these are about a local event. However, only one of them has been demoted a few weeks ago.It now sports the " = Not Featured - Traffic" icon. But. ....

I read the above quote on another thread and was wondering if anyone here can confirm that this is the case. Do you have long hubs, over 800 words? Are they doing well as far as Google traffic goes?Should I try to keep my hubs under 800 words?
