Hi,
I just noticed that a user, 'Piotrmak Marko' (@piotrmak) has copied and published my article on the Medium website!
What can I do?
Also, the 'Medium' article is higher in the search results than my 'Hubpages' article!
This is the (my) article in question. https://discover.hubpages.com/education … le-Mislead
The image is of his profile page.

Hi, and big THANKS Raggededge for that. BTW, I've just found out of the closure of this site. But I will do as you suggested so when I re-upload the article in question to my blog, it won't be flagged as plagerised.
Al the best for you and everyone one else here in hubpages including the newbies, oldies and OG's.
T.S.
If you are planning to republish your HubPages articles elsewhere, I'd recommend filing a DMCA against an article on Owlcation. Honestly, I'd do it regardless, but I understand some author's hesitations.
Whoever the Owlcation Editors are, they created a derivate work of your Cockney Rhyming Slang A to Z article. Owlcation has posted close to 300 derivative works from Discover content created by HubPages authors and posted these "new" articles under different author names.
Since the work is a derivative of your original, it does not matter how similar the content is. Several authors have been successful in getting these types of articles removed by filing DMCAs to dmca@thearenagroup. net.

Hi. I recently used the "suggested email" template to send to copyright infringing sites and sent it to GoDaddy.com and they misunderstood it. Maybe it needs clarification? ______________This was how I used the template in my email to GoDaddy.com:I am writing to you to avail myself of my...

I'm planning a hub about one particular actor in one particular scene of a movie. Without a visual representation of the actor in the scene the article would be meaningless, but no free or non-copyrighted photos appear to exist. To me this seems a classic case for Fair Use, as reflected in this...

As a freelance writer, the noose around my neck is getting tighter with AI content expanding. I am happy to see this happening. OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, is facing a lawsuit from bestselling writers, including George R.R. Martin, John Grisham and Elin Hilderbrand, that claims the company fed...

Do you include a copyright notice in your articles? Why or why not?I never do this, but I see that a lot of folks on here do. Just wondering what the opinions are out there.

It is in HP's interests to reassess the policy about DMCAs. For years we've been told hubbers are responsible for filing DMCAs about individual copyright infringements. But I've looked at the DMCA documentation and really can't see why.So here's my 6 top reasons why I believe HubPages should take...
