Maybe someone who knows more than me about markup can help?
I'm cleaning up the HTML of HubPages articles before pasting into Blogger. This requires removing blocks of image code and surrounding tags that reference Saymedia and also replacing h2 tags by h3 tags. Blogger apparently prefers h3 for sub-headings, since h2 is used for widgets. This process is relatively straightforward. However when I insert images back into the articles, they frequently end up inside paragraph p tags or title h3 tags. This sometimes does funny things like for instance changing the captions of images to bold, since when an image is inside a h3 tag, its caption picks up the CSS styling for the h3 tags that are used for subheadings.
HubPages seems to group tags using div tags, so is there any way I can ensure images are between div blogs, without having to tediously write markup to do this manually? I just what to insert images visually where there are blank lines between paragraphs and let Blogger worry about the markup.
Edit: I've worked out how to do this; the solution is simply to insert images in HTML view. I didn't realise that this was possible. Then Blogger generates the markup and inserts it at the position of the cursor in this view.

I have figured out how to put a photo at the top of my text and at the bottom, but I can't figure out how to put one in the middle, over to one side, along a paragraph. I have watched videos and read the instructions. Something is not clicking what am I doing wrong?

I was studying the Authorship Markup on the new profile format that has been released for staff only at this time. I noticed that the HTML link to other profiles is coded as rel="me nofollow". This defeats the purpose of rel="me" for Google authorship markup since...

Hi! I am new to Hubpages. I have studied the basic rules, but I cannot seem to understand how to properly place pictures within the content of the Hub. For example, I want a certain picture to appear next to the paragraph to which it relates, but instead it appears either above the paragraph, or at...

I know I've seen this elsewhere online, where you can't actually copy text or images. You can view pictures but not download them or even embed them. Would it be possible to do this at all? At least it would cut down on manual scraping attempts - although content could still be harvested via RSS...
