If so do you get any traffic or clicks?

    howdy. smile

no, but people write about all kinds of stuff.

visit this page, then type in some keywords and see what Google says:

that was the least useful reply.  I know how to use the google keyword tool but i was wondering if anyone like to write restaurant reviews.  I know that if I type "colley cantina norfolk virginia" google will says there is not enough searches, that wasn't my point.

oh, i'm sorry. i assumed because you were new, you might not know about the keyword tool. good luck in your quest.

I would say you are rude , people reply to help , if you think their help is useless then keep it to yourself  , no need to ask for help and then cut someone down , I think I would put you on my list of people I would rather not help

If not responding to the question and spouting out other information is helpful the thanks for the help.
I wasn't really looking for help, I was just wondering if people were doing reviews or not, i didn't ask, what topics should i write about?

oh good grief. you wanted to know if restaurant reviews attracted traffic or clicks, so i suggested the Google keyword tool, which is related to your question since you use keywords research to know what words attract attention, thereby traffic, correct?

excuse me for trying to help you and make you feel welcome. whatever.

I was a little mean, sorry about that.  Maybe I need to eat or something.  Too bad I can't take back that comment(s).
          Sorry Cosette.

oh that's ok...just some forum silliness. this has been a less than stellar week for me in real life, so i am a tad sensitive @ the moment. good luck. you look like a nice guy.

Alan if you type restaurant review into the search field for the site you come up with some hubs that do review them. I haven't so I can't answer your question but at least you can see how others are doing it.

I think it might be a good topic as local interests are searched when people are traveling to areas. I unfortunately live in a small community and don't have too many places that would be unique in this niche. We have the standards in restaurants around here. Although we do have one hmmm... gonna have to do some research now, lol  See you just never know where an idea is gonna come from.

I live in Hampton Roads, Norfolk specifically, and there are about 2.5 million people in about 30sq miles from me and 1000s of restaurants.  Plus people like to visit VA Beach which is 5 minutes from me also.
So anyone that has had any success in this area, i would really like to know.

Oh gosh Alan that is a great area and I would think you have a lot of great little finds for this type of niche. I know Hmrjmr1 did a review of a local mom and pop restaurant in his area near Savannah. I don't know how it did for him overall but he's a really nice guy you may want to ask him.

I have written one restaurant review, simply because I as impressed by it.  it has very low traffic, and no income though.

Hey Oli I checked that out had to search for it but I found it. Do you not think that if you changed it to reflect the name of the restaurant in the title it might be searched more or get better traffic? Just curious?

I figured more people would be looking for the keyword vegan restaurant in Amsterdam than the name of it's restaurant itself, since Amsterdam is pitifully lacking in any vegan foods whatsoever! tongue

        Thanks for the info.
Looks like -1 on reviews being valuable.
