Is there some easy way to connect with other Amazon affiliates? I am interested in knowing whether it is possible to contact such affiliates and encourage them to display certain products on their hubs, blogs or websites.
When people join the Amazon program, they consent to be contact by Amazon for advertising purposes. But those folks have not consented to being contacted by you.
If you formed your own mailing list or group and collected permissions from people who chose to join, then you could engage in such behavior. If you don't get permission, then that behavior is considered spamming.
Thanks, that makes sense. I gather from this that there is no structured way to do this, except perhaps joining existing groups where these can be found.
There are official Amazon affiliate discussion boards which you can find by logging into your affiliate account. Of course, they don't allow spamming.
Thanks, obviously spamming is the opposite of what I am looking for.
