I have finally convinced a friend of mine (yes a friend from the real world) to join the Hubs... She is here...Even though it took her a week or two, she has posted her first hub. She is pretty nervous about publishing her writing here, so if anyone wants to take a read and if you like what she has done- offer her some encouragement and leave her a comment to get her motivated and build her confidence a little.
She is a sweet girl, a mother of two, and a motivational person.
Hub Page Community please meet Chrystal S
H.C.-I'm going to take a look now, but wanted to tell you first that you're one wonderful friend. Encouraging people to write here is so cool! And from the looks of the comments here, she must be marvelous.
Just read her first hub. Left a comment. Thanks for the heads up, HC!
Just rated, commented, followed, and left her a nice little piece of fan mail. Don't forget to tell her to watch out for it! Here's a bunny so she can open up the letter of appreciation in a conveniently cute manner.
She rite on her profile sheet dat she iz "a grammar and punctuation Nazi"
Weez not gonna be gett'in long tu well
she typically is, (it may be due to IM and Text messages) when she can sit still...she has ADD and is a bit hyperactive- her mind goes a million miles a minute-and although she looks as if she is lost-she is actually quite productive...
She sounds like me. I love looking absolutely lost and confused, while running circles around people who underestimate.
she really is a great girl...we went to high school together. she was one of very few who did not torment me and make me feel absolutely worthless... (that says a lot about someone when they go against the crowd-specially in high school)
is she ok with profanity laced forum comments?
she has a mouth like a sailor and is extremely opinionated-yet respectful
For sure! She needs to write more. It's Follow Friday, a day early.
<image snipped, no obscene language please>
Okay, okay, now I really have to go.
Chrystal now has 5 followers! What a lovely poem-I can just feel the love she has for her girls in her words.
You've a new follower as well.
Thanks for all!
Apparently she has removed the content of her hub. And now the follower count is up to seven.
Welcome to HP Crystal!
I just saw on her profile how many followers she has and comments everyone left for her... Thanks-and no worry's, I showed her how to correct the layout so the comments are at the end rather the beginning. This really is a great community- y'all made her feel very welcome, and she is completing her next hub
HC -- what a sweet girl you are!
Welcome to Crystal S.
Off to read her words now.
I checked her out. I posted a comment and even liked most of what she said in her profile. I sent her fan mail too.
Thank you Holly! Great job at getting another writing for HubPages....maybe you can be a referral machine and increase traffic that way too.(just kidding)
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It is a beautiful poem.

Do you always leave a comment if you read a hub?I have followers whom I've never seen in the comments sections and just wondered what other hubbers think about the comments in general. Do you leave comments when you read? Sometimes? Always? Never? Please give your reasons with...

Hello everyone! Thanks so much for all the feedback you've provided regarding the new Hub design. We've taken it to heart and have rolled out two updates to the design:1. If you put your Hubs into a Group, the Hub featured in the top right sidebar will be the next Hub in that Group2. The footer will...

There are two newly discovered hubbers who have only posted raw translations by using online translating tool, what they did was merely copy and paste the results without doing any further modifications. From the comments they replied, you can tell they don't really understand much English. Even...

How do you react to a sarcastic comment on your hub?I recently went back to read the replys to a comment on a hub, and the person who I usually follow a lot was really sarcastic! I just sat there looking at it and thought, okay, now what? So what would you do? reply? don't follow them again, or...

Welcome Previous Squidoo and New HubPage Writers,I am rather new to HubPages myself, but I wanted to extend a warm greeting to HubPages. My question to all of you is: how do you like it so far? I myself was never a Squidoo writer so I am asking earnestly. Is there something's that we have that...
