It is just me? Don't you think it's funny that when you hit the "Delete Forever" button in the comments section of your hubs, you'll get the "Undelete" button?
Can you undo forever?
(- sounds like a cheesy song title.)
"Can you undo forever,
Don't you just wish that your could?
Just delete and never remember
The bad times and maybe the good?"
"Can you undo forever,
Make cookies just cease to exist..
But crumbs of today, seem to linger and stay
and computer memory persists.."

I'll look there again tomorrow, but so far I haven't been able to find it. I can't quite tell from what you wrote here, whether you are the original author or not. Are you?

At the moment, the only way you can delete a hub is when viewing it in "published mode" (ie the delete button at the top of the hub to the right of stats)How about introducing a "delete hub" button for EDIT mode to make it much more efficient and easier when trying to remove...
