Hey guys, i am a newbie please check out my hub and give me a few suggestions on what i should add or improve.
this is the link to my hub-http://hubpages.com/hub/White-water-River-Rafting
Okay, I have checked out your hub.
(a) keywords/tags - you only require a minimum of two to make the hub, but to make the hub of some value, use between 9 to 15 tags/keyword or phrases.
(b) the length is extremely short. Nice topic, but add more content. When you make it longer, use more text capsules, maybe add Amazon links or a poll. Plus, you can news or rss feeds also.
(c) the pictures in the beginning...try to put only one, if any, at the top.
Welcome to HubPages.
Just to let you know, you posted your link in the wrong category.
I have already notified HubPages Staff to move it to the correct category, so your link does not get snipped or you accused of self-promotion.
So, please do not start another thread. This one will be moved.
You should have started this in the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum. I rather you get the help you want, instead of starting off in the wrong manner.
Please make sure that you read everything- including the TOS for HubPages. It will help you keep your account longer.
With that said, I'm off to check out your hub.
I agree with Cagsil about the photos at the top - it takes too long to get to the content of the Hub and I lose interest.
I think a more engaging title would help as well...white water rafting doesn't tell me much about it. Will it be a personal story? Suggestions on where to go rafting? Tips on what to bring with you?
Also, the way you describe the heart pumping feeling you get when you are rafting was great - why not see if you can find a video that will show exactly what you mean so people can see how intense the experience will be!
I for one love your photos. They are great. They might be better at half size so that they appear next to the text.
The hub is a little short and could add some details people would want to know if they were thinking about this kind of adventure.
Your excitement is the sell here. Good job with communicating that. Still would like a lot more details, maybe capsules devoted to some descriptions and photos of the other rapids you mentioned.
Welcome to hubpages, I think you will do well here.
