To all you experienced hubbers out there.
Hi, I am new to this and need some advice please.
Can anyone tell me how to add a link into my text please.
I have learnt how to do this in the links and rename them but I dont know how to find the URL for a site I am promoting to add into my text.
I have seen other hubs that have loads of links in their texts and want to create the same in mine....
Hope someone can help me.
If you're talking about making text linked directly in a piece of text, you need to write whatever you want your link text to be, highlight it, and then click the little chain image on your text module for a link. (Get it, chain.. link? ^^) Then you can enter your url in the popup box.
This is the right way to add links.
Don't listen to others.
I agree that is the right way, and the OP knows this because she asked and I explained it to her in a recent thread.
So she now says: "I have learnt how to do this in the links and rename them but I dont know how to find the URL for a site I am promoting to add into my text."
Here she seems to be asking about how to find the URL, which is what I have answered above.
To link to hubs, navigate to the hub you want to link to, then click the "link to this page" button at the buttom of the screen, and copy the URL with the affiliate tracker that will be created for you.
To link to other websites, simply visit the exact page you want to link to, then copy the URL from the address bar of your browser.

I have always added my Products via a keyword search but I have been asked to add a couple of products via links instead. I am not sure whether my being in the UK makes a difference but should I be adding links from Amazon.com or from Amazon UK? I know that most of my traffic still...

I give! I've searched the first 3 or 4 pages of "Getting Help" Forum and I've read the entire Link's Capsule section in the Learning Center (http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/using-hubtool). That Hub, by the way, has a large number of Quick Links in it. How do you create a list of topics...

I have just noticed today that many of my hubs where I reference other author's hubs and included a link to their profile, the URL has been shortened to just "hubpages.com" - thereby removing the actual link to the author. I have no idea how long this has been happening, but I am going...

Can someone please explain this to me, as this hub was on HubPages for YEARS and saw a ton of traffic, but then I took it down... and only recently decided to bring it back, because I remember how helpful it was and how well it performed. The hub's purpose is to prove if Bodybuilding is really the...

I have tried to condition myself to use the referral tracker links whenever promoting my hubs. Sometimes I forget. Does anyone see any value in using them? Just wondering.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For fellow hubbers who don't know where to get the referral tracker links, at the bottom of each hub, the...

An article of mine received an edit, which is fine. But, the editor added sources via text capsule with links to medical references instead of using the link capsule. I thought you use the link capsule to show your sources. So, which is it or does it matter?
