Is there any rule against publishing a review someone has written?

I have just had an excellent review written by a fellow singer-songwriter about me and my music and am wondering if it is OK to publish it here or whether the contents of a hub has to be your own work? I can't recall seeing anything on this matter here so does anyone know please?

There is no requirement that you be the author, as long as you have acquired the necessary permission/license to publish the article here. It would be prudent to state who actually wrote the article.

If the article appears online elsewhere, there would also be the concerns about duplicate content.

Thanks for the info, Website Examiner!

It says who wrote it in the text and it does not exist online anywhere apart from in my mailbox at Facebook which is not for public display so I assume that would be OK.

I thought that it would be better exposure for the review if I post it on here and can then send the link to people.

Great! Sounds like a good idea.
