OK- I'm trying to put the google search onto my pages, where do I put the codes? It is so long and evertime I add it to my pages I just end up with all the pasted info on my page??? Where am I to place this?
Google search, what do you mean? Do you mean Google ads (Adsense)?
under the google adsense there is an option for adsense for search? I'm trying to do that and not knowing where to put it.
If you have an Adsense account already, you need to insert your publisher ID in the affiliate setting part of the HubPages control panel by following these guidelines:
http://hubpages.com/help/googleadsense
It is a two-step process, where first you have to link your HubPages account to Adsense.
Google ads run automatically on HubPages, and you will get 60% of the page impressions. Like everyone else is saying, there are no other options on HubPages, no HTML code you can insert here.
I don’t think HP allows that kind of html. Excellent idea though, especially if ads are incorporated in it.
Are you trying to put a search through google into your hubs?
If so, you can't do that I don't believe.
However, it can go on your personal blog site or website.
Hey PaulaHenry,
You cannot add "html" to your hub. However, since you have a Google account and setup an iGoogle page, you could then insert a link to that page.
That page, will have Google search bar at the top of the page. Plus, you can connect Twitter and FaceBook to your iGoogle page.
I tried to do that and quickly learned that it was impossible. Google wants to put a lot of that stuff on our sites, but we can't.
Whatever was meant in this thread, it certainly triggered an outstanding idea.
I just posted the following in the Suggestions Forum:
start
Title: Ad google search with ads
Text
I just got this idea from another thread.
Add a google search box! With results including ads of course.
End
I misspelled “Add” in the title, but that was because I was excited.
Deleted
I knew I could do that with the post, but can I really do it with the Topic title?
No, you are right - I misread what you said and so deleted my post above.
Nope! You cannot change the title, once the thread has been created.
Edit: However, you can delete your post, which would delete the thread, providing no one has posted to the forum thread.
Alas, that is what I thought.
Oh, well. They’ll get over it. (grin)
I deleted my post over there. You may be able to delete the thread now.
Well thank you everyone- I really thought I was doing something wrong!Whew- not as slow as I thought, well, oh never mind. Thanks Hubbers!

I noticed that one of my hubs used to be high on a google search list and it was getting quite a few hits on it. It was listed in the same way as the title of my hub. Today I searched on the same term and, to my surprise, it was no longer there. I had to search down through the...

Hi everyone,I'm a relatively new Hubber - I've published 4 so far. I plan on having 10-12 good hubs up and running before I apply. My question is what, if any, methods of driving traffic to my hubs would be recommended. I don't want to increase my traffic in a way that jeopardizes my...

I have read many forums over the last couple of months on how traffic to HubPages has dropped considerably since July. After much investigation I believe to have figured out what has caused this drop (and I don't think it was the algorithm change).I keep statistics on my keyword performance for...

The way that HP uses affiliate is unique among larger sites that rely heavily on natural search. Here individual affiliate ads are scattered through the site in a pretty random way. On other sites affiliate ads are avoided altogether or grouped in special sections ('the shop', 'reviews').It is easy...
