I was checking one of my hubs (<snipped link>) and was dismayed to see that all the ads on the page were for Scientology!
Can I do something to prevent these occurrences ?
Yes. One thing you could do is remove your adsense completely:
Go to your hub
untick "This hub may be considered commercial"
Or you can disable that advertiser in your adsense account:
Adsense setup>Competitive adfilter>add the URL you wish to block.
But - as you are writing about irrational beliefs in that hub - I suspect you will just get a different irrational belief seller instead. There is a lot of money in that.
You can block advertisements for specific websites in your adsense settings, I did this for scientology too.
Yes the ad will still appear in the Hubpages share. Personally though I hate the thought of yet another religion starting up, and have disabled scientology dot com on my adsense account.
