Howdy,
I apologize for possible repetition - I know that this has been asked before, but no one has ever reported what to do.
I signed up for Adsense through Hubpages, and got my approval email from Adsense a couple day ago. The Hubpages Help says to then enter the Publisher ID in the box in the Affiliates section in "my account". However, the Google box is solid and won't let me enter anything. I have waited two days to see if anything changes, but nothing has.
If any of you have had a similar problem, I would appreciate any help or advice. I was going to contact Hubpages, but I wanted to check here first.
Thanks!
If you look right over on the left hand side of the screen on the line where your google adsense box is, have you got a box that says modify or perhaps edit? If you click on that, you should be able to add your code to your adsense box.
The instructions are here:

Thank you, sir, and I read that earlier, but that doesn't answer my question. Your directions say "Once you’ve been approved and you’ve added your Adsense Publisher ID into your HubPages affiliate settings..."
I cannot enter my ID because there is no way to enter anything into the google box on the affiliate settings. That box is solid - there is no way to make it active.
Tim, are you running the no script extension on firefox?
Try changing browser
That is an excellent idea and I'm not sure if that extension is being run or not. I did try in in IE as well, and had the same problem.
If nothing else, I can try to follow the instructions intended for those who already had an adsense account, but I have been afraid that, since I signed up with hubpages, that something would get messed up.
Yes, that's what you should do.
We don't see any record of you having signed up for AdSense through HubPages. Normally if you signup through HubPages, (by selecting no here and clicking the "signup for AdSense button", your AdSense ID will be set automatically).
AdSense does not work like the other affiliates, you can not just type your id into the box, you must either signup through HubPages or associate your account.

I just read on another thread that we must add the niche sites to our AdSense account. I don't know anything about this and don't know how to do it. Could someone please give step-by-step directions on how to get this accomplished? I don't remember hearing about this when the niche sites started....

I have an idea for Hubpages to look into and implement if does not involve complications. More and more adsense publisher accounts are being disabled and top hubbers are being targetted. HP may come out of it unaffected if it considers to place its own publisher ID for 100% impressions for...

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still had concluded that my AdSense account has posed a significant risk. And I have no idea...

Have any of you found detestable ads on your hubs? It is a "game" with girls in bras...how distasteful I want it off my hub...do you know if we have a say in this? It has nothing to do with my poem and is disgusting to me.
