I am moving articles to here from ehow. I deleted the article on ehow that I moved here last night. I double check today to make sure I had deleted them from ehow they are deleted. Those articles should not say duplicate. I was thinking google didn't delete them yet. What do you think?
Probably they are still cached and will take a day or two to clear. I wouldn't worry - the duplication message will go away.

I used to have an eHow account, but when they closed the Writer's Compensation Program back in May/June, I removed my articles from the site and deleted my account.A couple days ago, I republished one of the articles here, and yesterday I got an email informing me that the hub had been unpublished...

I deleted my articles and account from eHow like many others...I would like to post them here.I read somewhere about deleting the urls on Google.Anyone have experience doing this on google and posting here without getting the dreaded"duplicate content" penalty?

Like some other contributors in this forum, I've also just had an article suspended for "duplication". This is an article on grammar rewritten from a small section of my own much longer article on EzineArticles. I modified just about every sentence, changed examples, added content, etc....

What's the hubpages view on copying free license text and passing it off as your own?Even if quoted, its duplicate content.. which I'm sure would be penalized.. but is it acceptable to do it in the first place?I was just looking at a hub by a constantly-complaining hubber - and her hub is 100%...

So, I had my hub moderated as substandard and I didn't see what made it so. I mailed them and got this reply:Well, the hub in question only had some text portions copied from my own hubs.
