I have a question, I've been on HubPages now for two weeks and I was wondering what all your average hub views are on average. Per hub my average views are in the high teens with some in the mid-twenties since I joined. Is that good or bad for a newbie?

    Welcome to HubPages Everyone!

It takes time to mature/age hubs. Unless you are aggressive on SEO techniques, such as keyword research and backlinks.

If you do not do that, then you will require time to let your hubs gain search engine traffic. In the first several weeks, most of your traffic is coming directly from HubPages and it's members.

If you have hubs tied to a blog and your blog has a good ranking on search engines then you could possibly see results before the average person.

I was with HubPages for 2 months before I made my first $10. But, I didn't do any SEO techniques and was primarily focused on making hubs.

Please do not assume your results will be the same as mine, because there are too many variables involved. You could do better or worse.

    I hope that helps.

      Congrats Thumb 86
That is some reassurance Cagsil. I also see traffic coming in trickles one day and in gushes some time ( no surge). I am patiently doing the back end work and waiting.

        Hey Sofs,

I reached payout threshold in May, but that was combined with previous earnings from previous months too. However, in May I also broke $100 payout just for May alone as well.

June broke it again. July, I deleted a couple of flagged hubs without truly reviewing them for what reasons, don't ask and missed my payout threshold, but still made $80 for the month.

August so far I have made $40 already. smile

Hi there. I usually get about 10-15 views per hub on average. Since most are new, it is hard to determine actually. However, I feel if average each hub is about 10 is a good start smile

    Don't you think so?

I often wondered what sort of income others were making on HP. Thanks for sharing your info. I have yet to get on the bandwagon of Adsense.

Everyone will have different results here.  It all depends on you!  No one can tell you exactly how to succeed.  Just my opinion, of course!
