When I bring in eBay sadly it also brings in items without photos which I feel spoils the article. Anyway to ignore all items without photos?
more advanced options with ebay capsules would be great!
-photos being the least if them, but there is no current function to do that
There have been several requests to have more options, specifically
(a) the option to display "Buy It Now" items only, and
(b) the option to display items with images only.
I have no idea how complicated these would be to program, I'm sure if they were simple HubPages would have introduced them by now - after all, they would improve their revenue too.
Sunforged and Marisa,
I spend a ton of time to bring in the right items and then when something without a photo shows up it really irritates me.
Thank you very much for helping me!
I agree. The 'No Photo' listings do ruin the look of a hub, especially when you get a whole bunch of them in a row.
But while it is incredibly easy to remove them within the custom widgets you can cut and paste to your own site, I'm guessing it must be much harder for HP to change this, as it's something that has been raised many times, and yet they're still there.

Gave it up and removed my remaining eBay capsules. I guess my hubs just aren't suited for them. Might give it another shot if the Buy It Now option becomes available though.

I think certain improvements to the ebay capsule would improve sales. I'm actually quite certain of it. I think we need to allow BUY IT NOW items to be shown. For example, I have a hub that sells item on ebay that run about $700-$1000. I saw a few sales of these items when the hub...

We just released a small update to the site. Among a slew of bug fixes and small updates, there are two notable changes. The first is that you can follow the comments on a hub, and receive email notifications when new comments are made. Just click the follow button near the top of the...

On my eBay websites, I can choose to list only items that are listed as "buy it now" (BIN). There's a bit of evidence to suggest that BIN items are more profitable than auction items for affiliates, especially with the new pricing model. Any chance we might be able to get that...
