I'd like to see this option added, along with the eBay, Amazon, Kontera and the like. You can receive money for every purchase made by those who follow a link to Powell's from your site. No, I'm not one of the owners of Powell's; I'd just like to earn revenue from linking to their site.
Given what's happening to the book industry, it's not the best niche to be in now. There are many affiliate programs out there, that would benefit hubbers more.
On the other hand, although with my iPad I now do not OBJECT to digital books, I still prefer real books and prefer to buy used.
They sell all kinds of things - calendars, journals, mugs, bumper stickers, DVDs, audio books, etc. It's not just paper books, which I, for one, will never stop buying.
Don't get me wrong, I love Powell's and I'm already one of their affiliates. But HP, doesn't have that many affiliate programs, and if they're going to add another, I'd like one with more oomph and products
K-mart would be actually be my first choice for a new affiliate program.
