Hello there!  I am new to hubber and wanted to get out and meet everyone.  Okay, seriously, I joined Hubber because a friend of mine recommened it and, I am sad to admit, I have been addicted ever since.  Although I have not written much (okay, so I only have 2 hub pages but, hey, it's a start!), I have been checking everything out and have actually been learning a TON in the process.

I am a super busy working mom and owner of three very small businesses.  When I was younger I thought the idea of self employment sounded SO cool....but it's really not.  There is actually a ton to keep up with (like taxes) and a lot of bull shit to put up with (like employees!) each and every day.  BUT, it pays the bills and we haven't starved yet.

Anyway, drop me a line and introduce yourself- I'd love to meet ya (in a friendly, virtual kind of way) and read your stuff!

        to xixi12:
I just went to read a couple of your hubs, and the two I looked  at were duplicate content, which, even if it is yours, is rated downward at Hubpages.
It will help you have a better experience here if go check out the rules on duplication.

No, we like face to face. Our meetings are on the third day after the Google updates, and (informally) on the second Sunday after Amazon Vine offers anything worth the trouble to toss the box it came in.

Dress is usually casual, though we do have nudists here, so be prepared.  We generally ask that atheists who wish to argue wear a Darwin fish pin and that proselytising theists of the same inclination display a large cross - and they must not argue in the common rooms!

You should bring your latest Adsense earnings in cash.  Those who feel uncomfortable carrying that much cash can bring their Amazon earnings instead.  If that is still too much, we really don't want you there anyway.

The location floats around the world on a random basis.  The coincidence of it ending up convenient to my home is simply coincidence and I resent all implications of self serving bias. Travel and lodging are your problem.

Looking forward to seeing you in person at the next meeting!

It is a pleasure to meet you. smile

I'm sure, if you have questions, someone within the community can help you out.

If you would like, you can a simple tool that is easily used and very much worth your time.

The Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread. It is one place you are allowed to post a couple or three links, and get your hubs critiqued by other hubbers. Once you get solid advice, then you can go back and make adjustments to your hubs.

And hello right back at you, Delanie!  Good to have you with us - you will find hubbers are great people and more than willing to help out a newbie.  Do a little searching for your answers in hubs or the help section, and if you can't find an answer why, just ask!  Someone will nearly always come back with an answer.

Lots and lots to learn here if you're new to this kind of thing, but it's possible to do and have fun while you're doing it.

Welcome - stick around and write something for us all to read!

Hi and welcome Delanie to Hubpages- hope you enjoy it here and make plenty of friends. It's true a lot of the answers are in the forums and have been asked several times over, but don't worry most of the hubbers here like to show newbies the right direction to go in. Most don't even bite.lol smile
