      Maybe it's a collector's item?

Or maybe they are scrapbookers who want the pictures?

that's funny.  I told my wife, thinking that this was strange, and she said "they want it for the pictures."  Apparently, folks frame the pictures from the calendar or use them (as you said) for scrapbooks.

        I did not know that...interesting.

Not as funny as my funniest.... a giant vibrator!!

I do have an interesting story about calender sales however. In 2009 I came across a 2009 Peter Rabbit Calender, and realised that it was out of stock on Amazon (it was June afterall).

I sold it for about $35 I think!! Just for a bleeding calender! It sold so quickly that I should probably have gone in higher, $100 or something. Collectors are mad mad people.

I had a day where I sold 3 rat traps and $200 worth of male enhancement pills. There's nothing saying the same guy bought both, but it struck me as a really funny combination. I also can't imagine which of my hubs they were reading that reminded them they needed enhancing.
