You must be surprised that I turned up! But how could I not? You stated an excellent case for Hubpages, not just in what you said but how you say it. You will be the first I shall follow!
Yes I am surprised.
And I love talking about anything I'm passionate about - and one of those things is hubpages!
May I suggest putting a hub or two in the extreme make over forum?
It's a great place to get feedback and ideas, when you first start.
And you might want to check out some of the hubs written by Darkside, he has some great beginner guides.

After the short break, I'm back here again trying a challenge planning to start from March 1st. I already have some hubs based on 'computer programming' with me as it is my forte. Rest all I plan to write during this challenge on some of my interesting topics. Is there anyone else to join me?
