Telephone directories.I don't need em and they burn slowly and are a source of cheap fuel. Crazy to recycle when you see the recycle vans spewing out fumes. What do you like to burn?

I know it is a taboo. But what about useless autobiographical celebrity books. Apparently pensioners in Wales are buying up books in charity shops and burning them in stoves etc to save money. Would you deny them?

You quickly changed your mind. That's a good thing. My wife's colleague complained about not recycling old text books and I persuaded him it made more sense to let me burn them. I always give them a good reading first.

I hope you mean his books and not him personally. On the other hand I see where you are coming from.
