I think in hubpages also we need a status update facility like in facebook and twitter.
This is really the main question. I don't see why we would need it but I'd love to hear arguments in favor of it.
This is an article directory with some basic social functionality attached, not a social site with some article directory features attached. I don't particularly want to see what people I barely know are doing in their personal lives on a day to day basis.
