I just wrote my first post but I am not sure how to create anchor text to link to my site.
WHO can tell me how to do this?
Anchor text is the text that represents the hyperlink, so to speak. To create this, you can do as follows:
- In editing mode, type the text as you want it to appear, then highlight that;
- Click on the chain link icon;
- In the pop-up box that appears, type or paste in the URL;
- Click save.
And you input anchor text thus: [*url=http://hubpages.com/]HubPages[/url]- missing out the asterisk just before 'url' - therefore it would appear -
Edit: the above is the manual way. Website Examiner is talking about the WYSIWYG method.
