New Hubber Introduction

   Hi, I don't know if there is a specific thread for just introductions but I would like to introduce myself.  I'm 29 years old and I found this website through various searches. I have read a couple of good quality hubs so far and I hope I can keep reading and writing more hubs. If you have any suggestions for me I will certainly appreciate them. Although the hubs I've written so far are geared towards Emergency/Disaster Management (doesn't interest a lot of people) you are more than welcomed  to read them. I hope I can expand to other topics in the near future.

   Welcome to HP - it's always good to have a new hubber around.
   
   Suggestions; keep writing and participate in the forums (but not religious or political unless you are very thick skinned!).  There is a wealth of information available if you only know the questions to ask.  Read and follow other questions until you do know what to ask.
   
   Have fun!
   
   ps - you might consider posting a link to 1 or 2 of your hubs in the extreme makeover forum and ask for a critique.  You may not like hearing the result, but it can be invaluable.

         The makeover forum can be a little disheartening when someone rips apart what you considered a well written piece, but it can also advise on how to use the features of HP and what might be done with SEO, tags and other things that might improve the search engine standings.
