Hello, I hope someone can help!
So I have created my Google AdSense account have added Hubpages.com to the account and they are both ready to go.
I have created an ad but I have no idea how to add it to my hub. Does google do it automatically? Or where do I paste the code?
That would be here: http://hubpages.com/my/affiliate.

Okay, I do see google ads posted on my Hub. So when you make an as on google AdSense and it says "copy code" you don't have to paste that anywhere on your hub?
Thank you so much for replying!
You are welcome. The ads always run, regardless of whether you have an AdSense account or not. And no, there is no code for you to paste into your hubs. Pasting code is for webmasters, not hubbers.
You will start getting your 60% of the page impressions once your AdSense account has been activated for HubPages, see the links provided above.

Hi Hubbers, I checked my account yesterday on August 20, 2016 and to my surprise the Google Adsense has approved my application. It is hardly even two months, when I signed up.
