I would like to refer a couple of people who I think are great writers but I would like this referral to be tracked. I am a little confused on how to do this as on the referral tracker tutorial page it says, as an example: www.hubpages.com/_signup/hub/Seattle_Coffee_Shops
If your potential writers clicked on that, how would hubpages know that you had referred them.
Should I ask them to click on: www.hubpages.com/(myreferraltrackersumber)/_signup/hub/Seattle_Coffee_Shops
I did try to get an answer from the hubpages team but they didn't really answer the question in a way I could understand i.e. simply.
Can anyone out there help me, please?
Go into My Account > URL Trackers and get your tracker code (or create a new one.)
The put this link in your profile:
Just be sure to include the underscore before your tracker code and you're good to go. When someone clicks on that link, it will take them directly to the signup page.
Great! Thanks Irohner ... why can't everyone explain things that clearly!
Here is another answer. Go to http://learningcenter.hubpages.com/url- … e-program/
That site provides additional information if needed.
