Come now, be honest!
I would give a million to each of my family members, and my partner's family members. Then I would invest the rest wisely in real estate/shares and give a large portion to a team of financial investors also.
Then I would travel the world, probably still staying at Backpackers Hostels (they are more fun!).
Then I would have a serious think about my life, how I decide out of all the less fortunate people in the world who will get a share of my profits, what I want to do with my time now I don't need to WORK and so on and so forth.
What would you do?
Very likely you would die of boredom within six months. So would I. However, if you had, or if I had spent a considerable period of time earning it, things would work out differently!
But ... go ahead and buy that lottery ticket.
Buy about 50-100 acres in the mountains and build a huge log cabin, large enough for me, hubby, kids, and grandkids. We'd also have horses and stables.
We'd probably travel, too.
I would also give a lot of it away to friends and charities.
