as i was going through the steps to 'start a new hub', which i assumed was our first step in freelance writing to earn money i was asked my website name which included 'www...' i do not have a web page. so do i still have the means to work here and make moeny..?
i would appreciate some more specific directions in this regard..
I don't know what you are seeing, cattender, I don't remember seeing that!
But to answer your question, no you don't need to have a previous website to start a new hub.
Just click on start a new hub. As you type in the title, the url immediately below should auto-fill. Then you get asked to choose a category, then some tags, at that point take a moment to check that there are no spelling errors in your title/url, click next and get to work
Oh and welcome to hubpages
Welcome to Hubpages!
When you click on "Start a new hub", and go to the next screen, you must enter a title for your hub. Your title, will become your URL(hubpage, and/or web page).
You'll need to put it into a category and select a few keywords/tags(don't forget to read the "highlighted" gray sections on the right of each section. It will be most helpful.
When you've completed this section, click continue. When you get to the next screen, then click the green button to create your hub. It will bring you into edit mode of the hub itself. You can exit out and save the Hub to come back to later or work on it then. You're choice.
When you feel you are done, then you can publish(middle button at the top) or click on done editing, leaving it unpublished.
Are you talking about signing up to Adsense?
That would be www.hubpages.com
