Help! Is this Google thing affecting everyone? I used to get 20 clicks a day, now I get only a handful. My earnings have really dropped over the last week.
I have a feeling that the quality of ads being served to us at hubpages has gone down therefore causing people to click on them less!!
What has been your experience over the past week? I am a little scared!
I have seen a drop, but not at zero. That seems pretty harsh.
I hope things improve for you !
There are quite a few threads out there on this subject. Yes, HP got hit by Google's recent algo change. Lots of folks are seeing drops in traffic and CTR.
While you're searching, also look for the HP ad program that's coming up. It may help to fill the gaps until traffic returns to normal.
My traffic and CTR is down, of course my ctr was always low. I had a lucky day yesterday, but today was not so good...
Since Google's Algo I have lost 40-50 % of my traffic. One hub used to get 400-1000 views a day. Now, it is way lower.
My traffic and CTR of HubPages have taken a huge hit. But I am sure the HubPages Team would come out with a solution to this problem as always.

In a word: adverts! I was just looking at some older hubs and realised I have lots of Amazon and eBay ads alongside the text or in blocks. I remember doing this now having seen some past high-earner Hubbers having lots of ads on their hubs. I admit I copied the technique thinking maybe this was the...

Hi, my earnings have dropped drastically. From around $4 per day to around $0.50 per day!! This is alarming and I am deeply concerned. I strive to create hubs of high quality and I am looking forward for a long term relationship with HubPages. It is an amazing platform for writers! It would be...

What do you think of the new HubScore update? How has this update affected you (your scores, traffic, earnings, etc.)? The past few days I've noticed the Hub that is currently getting the most traffic, went from a HubScore around 90, down to 58 (now the lowest scored hub). I just learned about the...
