How do I remove Adsense from my Hubs?

Posting about sex works.  Alternatively you can reduce the level of ads displayed using controls on the hub page in edit mode - under settings.

Can I not just turn it off?

Yes I think so.  Edit hub. Settings. Play with the commerical thing and set ad level to none.

      It might work.

edit: It does work. I tried it on one of my crappy hubs.  No one visits it anyway and I hate Google at the moment.  Stuff their Adsense.

try clicking on "my account" then once your there, click on "earnings". I am  not sure, but I think you may find out where to go from there. If that doesn't work, try going to your actual adsense account, not through hubpages.

You can set individual hubs to none. However, if you set your ads to none just be aware that you are not allowed any outgoing links.

If you go into your hub in edit mode it is under setting on the right hand column.

    Set the commercial box.

Then you can set ads to None.

Looks kind of nice when you get rid of the Ads.

OK Sorry - I don't normally do helpful stuff.

        Edit hub.
        Settings
In Ads it says "this hub may be considered commercial"
        Untick that box.
Then you can change the Ad Level above to NONE.

My pleasure!  Thank God we got there in the end.

But I learnt from it as well so a useful exercise.
