This is a long shot, but it is worth a try.
The objective is to build a joke or funny story one line at a time.
If more than one storyline develops, I’m sure the world will be fine with that. Proceed from whatever previous post you wish.
The first line is:
Google, Yahoo and Bing walk into a bar…
HubPages is standing behind the counter polishing a glass...
Google, Yahoo and Bing walk into a bar…
Google picks his nose and says,"I know what you want."
Yahoo says, "I think I know what you want."
Bing says, "What the hell do you want."
as the 3 search engines ignore Greek One sipping on his diet coke.... just like they do to his Hubs online
'Are you kids old enough to drink' asks HubPages 'I want some id before I can serve the likes of you'
Bing says, "I will have what Google is having. I'd like to duplicate his order."
Hubpages then asks," What are you three competitors doing out together?"
Google whispers to HubPages 'Just keep the drinks coming. I'm going to get that pair of no-hoper try hards totally pissed and then obliterate them.'
Just follow what I say HubPages and I will give some G loving. Looking at you now, you look good really and you make sense to me. Sorry for dumping you for how how, but things will soon change and you will be the apple of my eyes again.
'Oh big G!' says HubPages mistily 'I've tried soooo hard to change for you! But hunny you keep changing your mind. Just tell me what I need to do to keep you loving me? Anything, I'll give up anything for a bit of hot G love, even Misha's backlinks and Ryan's Amazon capsules!'
Yahoo leans over to Bing and says in a whisper,"Listen to Google, he thinks he is Top dog with all the Answers. Ha, that is my category!"
Bing meanwhile was sulking in a corner with his orangeade, which was all that HubPages would serve him. Why did everyone want Google love? Bing wanted some hot love too, and he wanted it now!
The eyes of Bing turned to Greek One carefully nursing his diet coke, and planning on how he was going to invest his 2c Adsense earnings. Maybe here was an opportunity to get some hub love, one hubber at a time!
Meanwhile, AOL walks in and wonders why nobody cares about him.
Ask comes out of the backroom. Their eyes lock…
AOL stands boldly and tells the Big 3 "Alta Vista Baby...I'll be back!" Google laughs and asks..."what have you been searching? You are acting a little "googlely-eyed? Have you been binged in the head?"
Altavista sneaks in the door.
Hubpages turns and whispers to him "You no longer exist. You must be from an alternate reality. Go out the back door before Yahoo sees you."
"Yeah, Dogpile is out back. Why don't you go Crawl it?"
"You playing it funny HubPages? Cos I don't like funny. If it ain't built like an Amazon then it don't even blip on my radar" Google drawled.
Google asks HubPages if he knows where to find something a "little stronger, if you know what I mean" also "do you have anyone out back I might like?"
Yahoo says. "Would you guys be quiet? There's a guy from the IRS in the corner trying to find his next customer by searching through his INDEX CARDS!!"

Do your hubs get more traffic from Bing, Yahoo or Google?I noticed that I always get more traffic from Bing and Yahoo than I do from Google. How can I increase my Google traffic to my hubs? Where does the majority of your traffic come from?

I know the more exposure we have, the more chances for page views. That is not what I am asking about here. I am wondering if we are effected by the quantity of hubs over the quality of maybe a smaller number of hubs.I am looking to delete more older hubs (seasonal in a way) to help boost the more...
