Explain very clearly how to see or determine if Amazon Affiliate ID is correctly linked to a hub with Amazon image-products for sale.
When I grab or take image-products from Amazon to my hub in the amazon capsule for advertiseement or sale, I take only the ASIN excluding other parts of the HTML. My Affiliate ID is also excluded. Is this method correct? If not, how should it be done? Remember we are talking of hubpages.
Using the Amazon Link Checker by the use of the hub URL doesn't establish a link. BAD LINK. How can I earn commission with this when Amazon Affiliate Central doesn't know the whereabouts of my hubs. Please explain how to use said link checker effectively. Thank you.
As long as you have input your Amazon ID into My Account > Earnings > Affiliate Settings, then anything you put into an Amazon capsule is linked to your Amazon account.
To input products into a capsule, you can just take the URL of the product from the Amazon site or use keywords to pull products.

For my first hub I asked my mom if it would be alright for me to do a review of her book. She agreed and I wrote one up. I intended to post a link from my hub to her book on amazon, however, upon further reading I read it is generally a good idea to have one or two hubs already posted before I try...

Thinking of joining hubpages' Amazon program but I don't currently have an Amazon account and would like to make sure if going through the hassle of making an account then joining the affiliate program is worth it.

Amazon changed their affiliate program yesterday by cutting the payout for most affiliates by half or more. Has HubPages addressed how these changes will affect content providers here?

I'm kinda pissed and extremely dismayed. I've been with Hubpages and Amazon Associates for 5 years now and haven't made a dime with Amazon the entire time. I've reached out for help numerous times and not a single person told me that I have to get my Amazon links from the Amazon Associates website...
