I have been proving the URL to photos that I use from Flickr...
I see some hubs that have web photos but no credit. I thought
you had to give photo credit to any photo that isnt yours...
Do I not need to give a link?
You always give credit to pics but you do not have to provide a link.
You don't have to give a live hyperlink but personally, I think it's only polite.
Some people don't know the copyright rules, and some people know them but don't give a #%&^!
It is part of professional/business ethics that to provide credit to photos that we publish which are not our property. In some cases the original title-holder of the photo may mandate that credit be given. Then it is mandatory to give photo credit when we use it, else it may be a violation of copyright. In some cases, free copying may be prohibited. In that case, using the photo without permision will be a blatant infringemnt of copyright. Hubpages, and sometimes Google also, may take action.

Regarding the latest newsletter about incorrectly crediting images, is it suggested that we take down all images that are not copyrighted or cites "google images" or "microsoft images." Should we, who are guilty, expect a violation email soon? Or worse, get idled?

I see Hubs where beautiful photos are used and are from Pinterest. The photos are usually credited as being from Pins. Are we allowed to use those photos??
