    Hi there hubstaff,

I need some help with editing my hubs. My ebay click values are putting my ebay affiliate account in jeopardy (0-2 cents - don't know how many valueless click you can send before they boot you and don't want to find out) and I am editing out my ebay capsules.

While it is easy enough with the accounts that I know were targeting ebay - I have simply unpublished them all until I can determine whether I can convert them to Amazon or not.

But - I have used ebay capsules randomly throughout my own hub account and do not want to go through every single hub looking if I can avoid it.

Is there a way of determining which hubs have ebay capsules without going one by one and looking?

    Thanks.

This is not what you want, but it may help. Use the CoolPreviews extension for Firefox to easily preview your hubs simply by mousing over the links in My Account. You can click on the padlock to keep the preview window open, which further speeds up the process.

No - this will not work because most of the capsules were added at the bottom of the page so I may as well just go through each hub. I doubt there is an easy fix to this so I guess I will just end up going through each one by one by one by one. sad

There is another Firefox extension that will take any list of URLs and convert the hubs to image files. If you can use the cvs sheet to get the URLs, you may save a lot of time by viewing the images as a slideshow instead of opening each hub manually. End of ideas from me.

Thanks anyway. It is just a lot of work to go through nearly 400 more hubs if I can possibly avoid it. However I go through them.

The above thread is an example of why the HP forums are the best I have come across.

Knowledgable, nice and the only troll on here is me.

As a quick fix, you have already removed your id from the affiliate settings?

Then you can edit at your leisure

That was my plan for the same problem, removing and recomposing format and text will take me forever. My past best performers will just have to move to unpoisoned ground and retain the same successful formatting.

product to text ratio... psshhh, bah humbug

How will you move a hub to a different type of website and retain formatting?

I'm pretty sure he meant product-to-text ratio and stuff like that. In other words, he knows how to sell stuff, and that may not fit with HP's new rules.

Makes sense. I understood his motivation. Hosting the actual hubs elsewhere may not be such a good idea, so that would be a new layout.

Yes, I am having the same issue, and have moved a few of my hubs so far, but not sure how many to move, or what to do about them.  Between the lack of traffic and reformatting the hubs, the ebay stuff is not doing too well right now.

Mine were holding up okay untill yesterday (epc fell to 0, it's not the first time that has happened though so I am going to hold out for a few weeks.

The biggest change is proabbly because I have had to significantly change my ad layout to comply with Hubpages ToS.
