Here is another best guess on my part...
HP is using the word “alert” as a noun, but the way that HP has phrased it is causing people to interpret it as a verb.I have the same issue. After making changes till I cant publish the article. How come nobody knows the right answer...? Well I tried to find links to moderators so I could write to them about the problem. No luck
