Just a thought only.
Perhaps this is the right time to introduce the HP Market Place?
With so many hubbers leaving, and so many disgruntled hubbers venting it in the forums, HP with so many new guidelines, this may be the time to introduce the trade feature here.
Most non-tech savvy hubbers will not / or may not want to start their own sites and do not want to continue here, can trade their hubs for money with interested buyers.
I, for one, am willing to buy out some hubs / hubbers acccounts.
I am also, open to trade my hubs / sell my account to interested buyers too.
What do you think, fellow hubbers? Considering the fact that revenue sharing sites for unhappy hubbers are sprouting like mushrooms everywhere!
Best Regards
edit: PS: Why dont I try too!
The problem is that people would only ever be willing to sell hubs that had no value.
Not necessarily. We will know only when such opportunity is in place.
Anyway, it is desirable to be laissez-faire and caveat emptor.
As the saying goes, one man's trash is another's treasure. Then there's also the idea of value-add. I can see the appeal in buying well-written but low-performing articles and doing a number of things with them: applying a solid backlink strategy; optimizing for SEO; combining like topics into a new niche site. A kind of upcycling approach for someone who has the online marketing skills the original author didn't.
Why aren't many people here interested in selling their dead articles? My instincts tell me this is a very good idea.
That sounds great SunSeven. Can that be possible here?
May be we can have a bidding among interested parties
I am offering you US$715,-- for that account. Will you take it?
You can bend my arm, but I'm not selling less that $0!
I am interested in your avatar. What's your price for this one?
Great.
Thanks a lot.
Why dont we put it up for votes?
Anyways, HP never really cared about user feedbacks. I have seen even the giant G trying to gauge users' feelings by way of odd feedbacks. Remember periodical Adsense surveys?
Any way to add to a person's income online is always a good idea in my book.
Times are hard in this business after the panda update and I would suggest you reconsider lowering your priceā¦
I am thinking of buying (at next to nothing) only those articles that their owners feel have no value.

Is it really viable to let anyone and everyone join HubPages? As hubs are now quality checked, why not make the first hub a test to see if they can join. It is obvious from hub hopping that people with little writing ability are publishing hubs. Surely they could be denied access to further...

Published a hub on Oklahoma (please don’t get started on how it might be too generic – I had fun doing it). It became the template for my following hubs on Arizona and New Mexico. The Oklahoma one published just fine. The Arizona and New Mexico ones are now Not Featured due to Quality....

I think it would be cool if hubpages had a market, where members could buy, sell hubs, hire other hubbers to write hubs for them, etc. It would also be fun if we could check what each of our hubs and all our hubs are "worth".
