hi any help about this issue is highly appreciated. I was asking if one can still profit from buying and selling domain names. Is it dead or still alive. Would love to hear from you as i have two domain names sciencegurus.com and computericons.net that are for sale.
It really depends on the quality of the domain, the domain keyword popularity and how much someone wants the domain name.
When the UK olympics were announced, domain names like london2012.com were snatched up and resold for several thousand dollars in a matter of hours.
On the other hand, you can purchase 99c aged keyword domains on eBay.
There are lots of sites that give valuations on domains and you could try asking on one of those for a specific price based on the age of the domain and its rank.
