Several noticeably strange things have been happening lately on HP:
1. I have not be receiving any emails with new comments on my hubs
2. I am not receiving email notifications about comments on hubs that I am following-and yes, the box is checked
3. The number of followers does not show for myself or other writers
4. HP Ad Program shows no stats/earnings for either 9/5 or 9/6.
And while I'm at it: Why can't we have an easier way to find out about upcoming contests, etc., instead of having to weed through the forums?
I am getting very frustrated with HP. I would appreciate help . . .

To the HubPages staff, I have received ugly and obscene comments emailed to me via HubPagesby a new hubber. To report them to HubPages do I need to do more than click on the abuse link at the bottom of the emails?

Do you not follow comments in hubpages to avoid the emails?I hate having so many emails and so tend to not follow forums and other places I visit on the web. Is it worth following all the places you comment on hubpages and any negatives aside from missing someone responding to your question?
