Are spam comments supposed to show up in our feed? I've never noticed them before, but all of these latest spam comments are appearing in my feed on the home page, and I've received a notification email about three of them (even though they were correctly marked as spam by HubPages).
Sorry for any problems this latest SPAM onslaught has caused.
This is related to:
Our engineering team is working on cleaning up the comments and reducing such deluges in the future.
Thanks for everyone's patience.
I made a post in another forum about the SPAM comments generating emails, which I don't think they should.
As for them showing up in the Feed, yeah I saw that too. Found it odd though.
That's why I created this thread. I know HP is aware of the flood of spam but wasn't sure if they were aware of the feed/email thing.
Mine have shown up on the feed, in fact another came in just a few minutes ago, but I have had no emails although my mail is set for notification.
Not complaining or anything, but it would only seem to be broken in some cases.

Is there some way that messages caught by the automated spam filters can be blocked from the feed page? The most annoying part is that even once deleted forever, they continue to show up there.

Every day when I log into HubPages, the first thing I do is read my new comments and approve them. However, I'll be wandering around my hubs and I'll see comments that HubPages kind of says are spam, but I never received...

Hello, I found three comments to two different hubs that were already marked as spam when I went to see them. At first I did not notice, until the hubber that left one of the comments left another one saying "sorry...
