Can we have an author initiated date box put option on our hubs... the date would be when we wrote the hub and would help with our audience keeping track of serial hubs. It also helps if we want to arrange hubs by date...
The box could be optional for those writers who would use it or not.
One problem with that is, when I do a Google search for something and an article shows something like "written on july 3, 2007", I am highly likely to avoid that search result. I want something fresh and new to read, and, statistically speaking, so do a large amount of other people.
What you could do is create a sort of "umbrella" hub on your topic. For example, if you have something on your adventures in gardening, you would have hubs like:
Growing Cucumbers: Week One - Preparing Soil + Planting
Growing Cucumbers: Week Ten - Cucumbers Have Taken Over My Lawn
Growing Cucumbers: Week Fourteen - My neighbors called the police
Then, you would keep everything together in one big hub like:
My Adventures in Growing Cucumbers
And in that hub, you would have a tiny paragraph explaining each hub in your series. If you write fiction, you can just have a little teaser.
And then link to that hub from each hub in your series, so that people can quickly find your "index."
I hope this helps.
True... though I was hoping to be able to create a magazine out of hubs... where they could all have an issue series or date. We read old magazines... but because the date stamp would be at the authors option... it would not need to be put on every hub... just the hubs we wanted to add it to.

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in the poetry section.

Okay, to start with, the features in the capsules we have are already pretty awesome, and my hat is off to the programmers for coming up with all these utilities. There is one additional feature that would be on my wish list, and that would be the option to "drag and drop" photo and map...

Dear HubTeam:I know there have been a few forum threads about this topic, but hear me out please. By the way, this thread refers to the rating down of hubs, not flagging. I have no problem with the flagging feature and see it as a necessary evil. Even if someone misuses it, they have to go through...

I like a great feature in "Crackberry", the Blackberry website for a cool ads feature. They have Google ads sponsored by Google appearing every 10 or so comments down a comments section. I won't add links here - but check it to see what they look like. Could that feature become a feature...

I respect the work of many hubbers, but at the very top of my list is 'peeples'. I am a great fan of this extraordinary woman and when you go to her profile page you will see why. Peeples is now homeless. Follow this link to her story. http://peeples.hubpages.com/hub/A-Real- … melessness and...

I often intend to put a module either within my hub, or at the end, that might include some standard text/a link, e.g. that says "Copyright Me (Year) - Please do not copy and paste this article, but feel free to post a link using this url ....." or "Join Hubpages by clicking...
