It seems that the Amazon capsule doesn't like ISBN 13 and instead translates it to ISBN 10. That's okay, but only if it translate it correctly. I've only used ISBN 13 twice, but each time HubPages' Amazon capsule couldn't find the book! Why? Because it had mis-translated the ISBN -- off by one digit!

The capsule translates the 13-digit ISBN (978-1411636316) it seems by stripping off the "978-," but as you can see, this is wrong! ISBN 10 is 1411636317 for this book.
I don't know if ISBN 10 is consistently ISBN 13 +1, but this should be looked into or a warning should be made to use only ISBN 10.
I've tried to use the ISBN numbers several times and it never worked. Like Izzy I only use the url.
