There are lots of good folks that goad in the forums; and watching the potency of the hubs-staffs, it seems hubpages is doomed. Why not put the hub-website in good practice, and make that kind of ... website??
Why not just improve on it and make it a better writing site instead of what you are suggesting? What would all the serious writers gain by changing over the site to a chat site?

There is a new website that is all about HubPages Hubs where people can share their Hubs and vote for the ones they like.This website also provides a backlink so it's useful for getting better search engine positions....
